Introducing netParcel’s New Duties and Taxes Calculator

Shipping across the US border has recently left customers with one big question: what will the final cost be once duties and taxes are added? These additional charges can be difficult to predict and sometimes result in unexpected costs for both the sender and the recipient.

To help with this, we’ve introduced a new Duties and Taxes Calculator!

What the Calculator Does

The tool provides an estimate of the landing cost for your shipment. By entering basic details, such as destination, shipment value, and commodity type and HS code(s), you can quickly determine the duties, taxes, and import fees that are likely to apply.

Why This Matters

Knowing the estimated total cost before shipping makes it easier to:

  1. Plan and budget for international orders
  2. Give customers a clearer picture of what to expect
  3. Reduce delays caused by unpaid or surprise fees

How to Access It

The Duties and Taxes Calculator is available in your netParcel account and is a part of your order processing journey. Please see the key steps below:

  • Select your desired Bill-To party (where applicable), and input your product information

A More Transparent Shipping Process

Our goal with this tool is simple: to make cross-border shipping more predictable and transparent. By giving you better information up front, we hope it makes your shipping process smoother and easier to manage.

As always, please reach out to support@netparcel.com or 1-855-891-4521 with any questions or concerns.

Thank you,
